3.2 General Conditions
a) Dimensions of fittings shall confirm to ANSI standard for Butt-welded fittings as per BS16.9 and B16.28.
b) Dimensions of Flanges shall confirm to ANSI B16.5, 150#.
c) Mechanical, chemical, Microanalysis tests shall be carried out on one sample per heat/lot. All testing charges shall be included in quoted price.
d) All the fittings and flanges shall be inspected and cleared prior to dispatch.
e) All Fittings & flanges shall be clearly marked indicating manufacturer’s reference, Dimension, heat/lot no., class rating, Material as applicable.
f) All fittings are to be of Seamless quality.
g) Protective coating: All C.S fittings shall be applied with suitable anticorrosion coat for external surface.
h) Dispatch: All C.S fittings shall be neatly packed in wooden boxes to avoid damage due to transit.
