Group’s aluminium business encompasses two aluminium extrusion plants and a
third plant Universal Machines Limited (UML) which specializes in value added
products, producing finished items such as fabricated ready-to-use solar panel
frames and hardware and accessories for the building and construction industry
among many others produced specially for export markets.Alom
is one of the leading aluminium extruders in India with all plants being ISO
certified and maintaining strict quality standards in order to consistently
deliver the best products according to specific customer requirements.Being
a constantly growing business house, Alom has strategically diversified into
the manufacturing of double wall corrugated polyethylene pipes for sewage,
drainage and cable ducting applications and Tea plantation and processing to
further strengthen its portfolio.Alom Extrusions
Limited is the flagship Company of ALOM GROUP of Industries, with its Head
Office at Kolkata, in the State of West Bengal, currently operating two units
located in Kolkata and Balasore.Equipped with
Two Automated Hydraulic Extrusion Presses of 910 MT and 2000 MT capacity with
PLC controlled robotic puller; it has an installed production capacity of
7,500MT/annum.Equipped with
Four Automated Hydraulic Extrusion Presses of 960 MT, 1250 MT, 1460 MT and 2100
MT capacity with PLC controlled robotic puller; it has an installed production
capacity of 14,000MT/annum.For precision
die-development, both plants are provided with CNC wire cut and EDM spark erosion
machines. They have in-house billet casting facilities and are equipped with
hardness tests, microstructure tests, spectrometer, etc. for ensuring strict
quality control.Alom Group products are reaching out to customers in five continents of
the world. Countries like USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany,
