copper alloy that is ductile and heat treatable. It is also known as Alloy 25 and is the most commonly used beryllium
copper alloy. UNS C17200 has a tensile strength of over 1380 MPa (200 ksi) and is used for
applications that require high strength, stiffness, and good conductivity. It has a strength and hardness similar to steel and is non-magnetic and
non-sparking. It also has excellent metal working, forming, non-galling, and machining
