FEW is a Fabrication Division of FACT, a pioneer in the field of fabrication has an astounding legacy spanning over the last 40 years. FEW is a part of the multi-divisional company, The Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Schedule 'A Government of India Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Fertilisers in the Ministry of Chemical & Fertilisers. Started in 1966, as diversification of FACT in the engineering field, FEW has evolved to a level of excellence in the fabrication field over the period of time. Located at Palluruthy, in a lush green area of around 14 acres, on the bank of Cochin backwaters, only 2 Km away from the Sea channel, FEW has the unique advantage for the movement of heavy equipment. n 1998, Few was awarded ISO 9001 certification by M/s DNV for quality standards (Presently upgraded to ISO 9001:2015). The range of fabricated items in FEW varies from heavy pressure vessels, reactors, storage tanks, heat exchangers technical expertise. FEW has to its credit many highly challenging works etc. of precise works demanding highly competent technical expertise done for organizations like ISRO, VSSC, ONGC. BPCL, CPCL, Cochin Shipyard Ltd., KSEB, etc.
