Envisaged by its founder, this has transformed the company into a mighty 1500-crore group that has contributed tremendously to the growth of Industrial Technology.
KCP paved its way into the industry as a small cooperative sugar plant in 1941. Over the years, the company expanded rapidly enthused by the leadership of its founder Sri. V. Ramakrishna and inspired many on the lines of technological foresight into other areas like Heavy Engineering (1955), Cement (1958), Power (1998) and Hospitality (2016).
KCP, with its technology & project management capability, has set up over 40 sugar plants and 12 cement factories in India and overseas. The latest trends in technology has facilitated our services, state-of-the-art infrastructure and application of newest processes & trends in areas such as critical industrial equipment for mineral processing, chemical industries, steel plants, space research applications and Nuclear/ Hydro power installations.
KCP has been constantly focussing on furthering its infrastructure and its development. Our cement plant in Macherla was set up to supply cement for the construction of the mighty Nagarjunasagar Dam. This stands as a testimony to the quality and fame of KCP Cement. Till date, the dam continues to provide irrigation and power to the state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
KCP is proud to have ventured into several fields in various industries like Fives – Cail KCP Limited, which is a Joint Venture of KCP with the Fives Group, France. The objective of this collaboration was to execute turnkey sugar plants. In addition to this, KCP stands tall as a pioneer in developing the sugar industry in Vietnam since the 1990’s – the company has established its position as a supplier of sugar machinery to the plants in Vietnam as well.
