KOSO INDIA is owned by Nihon KOSO Co. Ltd. of Japan, a global leader in the controls and process automation systems market. Originally formed in 1989 under the name Introl India, the company has evolved over the years, becoming stronger with each change and better positioned to meet the demands of a constantly changing exploration marketplace. KOSO India specialises in the supply of standard service control valves, severe service control valves, high-technology surface choke valves, segmental ball valves, metal seated ball valves and high-performance rotary valves for the oil and gas, petrochemical and power industries.
KOSO manufactures from its plant in Nashik, India, with global sales and application support from specialist sales people and carefully selected channel partners throughout the world.
KOSO India occupies 30,000 SqMts of land in Nashik Industrial Area and our manufacturing facilities are world class with utmost attention given to quality and health and safety aptly supported with a well-equipped, fully accredited and wholly owned steel foundry in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Maintaining the highest standards of quality throughout design, production and customer service is the cornerstone of KOSO's philosophy. Our valves are engineered by highly qualified and experienced personnel. We utilise the best of both the Japan and UK technology which is well proven over 50 years with enormous installed base across the globe.
Our plant is certified by an accredited body, in accordance with Quality Management System ISO 9001, Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and API 6A. In addition all products, where applicable, conform to ATEX, PED and all other applicable Directives and are CE marked accordingly.
Our standard manufacturing experience includes NACE MR01.75, NORSOK, API 6A specifications and individual customer specifications. Our in-house inspection and testing facilities include hardness testing, NDE, PMI, gas and flow testing. Safety is the key element in everything we do, with all employees undergoing both general and specific Health and Safety training.
The company known today as Koso INDIA has had more than its fair share of names over the years. Starting as Introl India, it has also been Kent Introl, Kent Process Control, Kent Instruments, ABB Control Valves, Kentintrol & finally KOSO INDIA, as its ownership has changed.
Rather than creating difficulties for the company, these changes have brought benefits through capital investment and access to new markets. And in all this time, the company's ethos: to design and manufacture high quality choke valves and control valves for severe service applications, has not changed.
