The seed was sown over 50 years back, when the first Thermo Group Company was incorporated to manufacture heating mantles. This was the first of its kind in India and set a precedent for many firsts. Every heater manufactured by Thermo Group was the first of its kind in the country. The seed sprouted to a seedling,with the setting up of Thermopads in 1978 by two young and qualified technocrats from Indian Institute of Technology. Today, Thermopads exports 97% of its heaters and has built a world-wide reputation for its quality and reliability. On this strong foundation grew the mature tree, Thermo Group with it's offshoots, Thermo Cables in 1992 & Thermosystems in 2005. Thermo Group is a multi-product, multi-service organization with sales and service points covering every part of India and has overseas office and warehouses in U.K. and Netherlands. The array of group's products has applications in almost all industries i.e Petroleum, Power Plants, Automobile, Metallurgical, Cement, Sugar, Fertilizers, Textiles, Food and Confectionery, Pharma, Paints, Edible Oils, etc.
