following notes to consider this requirement as follows.

Instrumentation CABLES AND ACCESSORIES:

• Where cables are used they shall confirm to BS-5308 standards and shall be Flame retardant and low smoke conforming in accordance with IEC 60332-3.
• Signal cables shall be multi stranded, twisted pair, PVC inner jacket, galvanized steel wire armored, XLPE or PVC black outer sheath, 300/500 V rating, with individual and overall screen, pair identification blue, black numbered, suitable for direct burial.
Cables shall be UV resistant and Rodent Resistant.
• Core cable shall be multi stranded, PVC inner jacket, galvanized steel wire armored, XLPE or PVC black outer sheath, 300/500 V rating, cores shall be identified with colors with numbering and shall be suitable for direct burial. Cables shall be UV
resistant and Rodent Resistant.
• Cables will be DGMS approved.
